Week #9, 2024

Le Bis is the French the design school, L'ENSCi's exhibition space on Place de la Bastille in Paris. In connection with the Paris 2024 Olympics, I participated in a five-day project where, together with four others, I developed a proposal for how the space could be used during the Olympics.

The requirement was that the space had to include a sewing workshop where visitors could deliver old footballs, team jerseys and football scarves to be upgraded into new Olympic merch. It should also include an area for exhibiting and design of merch, as well as a simple café. In addition, the space should be able to be converted into a lecture room once a week.

Our response to the task was a modular solution based on a modular box system that is both practical, aesthetic and inexpensive.
